Winston-Salem is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Winston-Salem follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Undoubtably the desserts taste great. However some policies need to be more customer friendly. Ordered a cake square platter and can only order 3 types. The whole point of a platter is to show and offer variety. If I wanted the same thing, I could just order a cake. Just order them individually , You get four less pieces for the same cost but you’ll get exactly the variety you want. Dewey’s could at least give the option that you can pick only three and save or at least still offer the platter at a different cost, À la carte. You can see from the photo is just not as pretty as a variety would look.

Wow. Speechless. This was a custom cake for my sister’s birthday. We grew up on Barbie movies and Barbie Swan Lake was one of my sister’s favorite movies as a kid… so we themed her party around that movie! My other sister and I had planned out this cake in our heads for a while but because neither of us can draw we used ChatGPT to “draw” it for us. After several attempts ChatGPT got it close enough to what we wanted. So, I went into Dewey’s and showed them the photo along with a few other real reference photos. I also found the plastic swans (on Amazon!). After talking to the cake designers for several minutes we finally had the “perfect” design planned out! I gave them the swans for placing and a week later picked up the cake. Let’s just say …. This cake was a HUGE hit! All of us at the party were speechless..! (Cake flavor was Pink Lemonade💖) and it tasted just as good as it looked! I WILL be ordering more cakes from them again in the future - possibly in the next several months for other birthdays coming up!! I also want to thank all of the ladies at Dewey’s who helped make this cake happen! There was one lady in particular I spoke to several times (I am so so so sorry I am

I came to Dewey’s for a custom cake for my daughter’s 6th birthday. I wasn’t sure what to expect, as I am new to the area and this was our first time in. I provided 3-4 inspiration pictures of cakes that we liked and the associate spent time drawing what the cake should look like and adding all of the details I requested. We wanted multiple colors, 2 tiers and a custard filling. The filling only cost an additional $10 and no charge for the amount of colors I wanted to use, which I appreciated. It was definitely more expensive than I intended to spend but they were the only local baker who could make it for us with 48 hours notice. We had a candle and cake-toppers prior to the order and they put it on the cake for us, which was also nice. Although the cake flavor didn’t blow me away, it was moist and the custard filling was delicious. The ordering and pickup process were very efficient and they made a custom box so it would transport well. They did a great job bringing our vision to life!!

After recently moving here I had to try this 95 year old institution. This store is what dreams are made of. My wife’s family grew up celebrating all of life’s achievements with a sugary confection or cake from here and with any luck will continue for years to come! From the moment you open the door and smell the airborne sugar confections you know you have arrived. This place is magical in many ways. As the inventors of the renowned Moravian cookies to the cupcakes and special occasion cakes to cinnamon rolls and ice cream. The staff are all super friendly and willing to help pick out your favorite confection or special order your celebration cake. On my first visit I got a selection of cupcakes, ground house coffee and the famous Moravian cookies. The cupcakes were absolutely delicious as well is the coffee. I cant wait to try the cookies soon. I am already planning my next trip and hope to be frequenting this place often. If you find yourself in the area this is a must go to destination!

Love going in here. The pink lemonade cakes/cup cakes are still my favorite. They have other cute items to choose from. Like, mugs, books and pillows.. Today I tried one of the brownies. It was pretty good. Rich in chocolate flavor. Nice place to shop & eat treats. Also good customer service. Very kind and helpful
